Nestled in the heart of San Francisco’s West Portal neighborhood, West Portal Dental Care has served local families for over 40 years. Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Anne Wang
Dr. Anne Wang is a general dentist who enjoys working with patients on maintaining and improving their beautiful smiles.
Dr. Wang grew up on the East Coast in the Philadelphia suburbs. After graduating with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, she completed her dental and public health degree at the University of Pittsburgh. She then completed a general practice residency at Northwestern University. After working for several years on the East Coast, she moved to the Bay Area to be closer to her family.
In her free time, she likes to listen to podcasts, read, travel with her husband and son, and hike with their dog Chester. She has gone on several dental mission trips and loves interacting with different cultures.
Dr. Leila Jamshidi
Dr. Jamshidi believes in a personalized approach to dentistry, emphasizing prevention and the overall well-being of her patients. Her goal is to provide care tailored to each individual’s needs while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UCSC before continuing her dental education at the University of the Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry here in San Francisco.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys cycling, baking, and spending time outdoors. Her ideal weekend includes an early Peloton ride, an afternoon by the ocean, and a night watching Futurama with her two cats, Hana and Nibbler.
