Feel Prepared for Your First Visit to West Portal Dental Care
01 Get to Know You
At the start of your appointment, our team will review your medical and dental history. We will ask a few questions to better understand your overall health, past treatments, and any current concerns.
02 Cleaning & Exam
Next, your hygienist will provide a professional dental cleaning to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Then, your dentist will perform a comprehensive oral exam, which may include X-rays, an oral cancer screening, and a periodontal exam to check for signs of gum disease.
03 Dental Plan
Once your exam is complete, our team will discuss their findings along with financial options.
Together, you will create a treatment plan to help you maintain a healthy, functional smile.
Timing varies by patient. Some may require a follow-up visit.
